Victor’s new contract with Napoli has brought immense joy to Sporting Director Mauro Meluso. The Serie A champions made the announcement, confirming the extension of their star striker’s contract until June 2026.
As part of the new deal, the Nigeria international will receive a substantial pay increase from his previous contract, along with a reported release clause ranging between €120 and €140 million.
Speaking to DAZN, Meluso expressed his happiness, stating, “I will not get into the details. We are just pleased that Osimhen signed the new contract. The club made a step towards the player, who was also eager to continue his rapport with Napoli.”
He further added, “He never backed down or showed a lack of effort, just like his teammates, so he made his commitment clear with action.”
