BIOGRAPHY
Actor, screenwriter and director Michael Patrick Jann was born on May 15, 1970 in Albany, New York, United States. He began his professional career by directing, along with David Wain, the MTV video The State (1993). Much of his career has been in television projects, although in 1999, he directed the film Drop Dead Gorgeous , to date the only feature film he has directed. In 2006 he co-wrote the film Rookie in Prison with Thomas Lennon and Ben Garant . He produced and directed the hit Comedy Central series Reindeer 911! (2004) and directed Little Britain USA (2008). Among his most recent projects as a director are the television series Wayne (2019), available on YouTube. He also directed the television movie Grand Marquee which is currently in post-production work and it was recently announced that he is working on Mantivities , a comedy written by Robert Baker and Ian Gotler. Michael is married to Lisa LoCicero, with whom he has two children.
