BIOGRAPHY
With a Brazilian mother and a Canadian father, Mia Goth grew up between England, Brazil and Canada. Spotted by a modeling agency at 14, she began her acting career in 2013 by appearing in several episodes of the Franco-British detective series Tunnel alongside Frenchie Clémence Poésy .

It was the following year that she really stood out in the sulfurous diptych Nymphomaniac by Lars von Trier . She plays P, a young woman having a relationship with Joe alias Charlotte Gainsbourg . The actress met her future husband, the controversial actor Shia LaBeouf , whom she married in October 2016 and divorced in 2018. The couple met again in 2020 and welcomed the birth of a daughter in 2022.

In 2015, the frail Mia climbed Everest with Jason Clarke and Jake Gyllenhaal before reuniting with Dane DeHaan in the mysterious psychological thriller A Cure For Life (2017). She plays Hannah, a strange patient at the Swiss institute where a sinister medical profession operates. In 2018, she starred in three feature films: the atypical SF film High Life by Claire Denis and the two horror films The Secret of the Marrowbone and Suspiria , a remake of Dario Argento ‘s classic .
