Marco Verratti, the PSG star, and his wife lost over £2.5 million in cash and jewellery during a robbery at their Ibiza holiday home

Reports indicate that burglars targeted Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti’s holiday residence in Ibiza, making off with more than £2.5 million worth of valuables.

The break-in occurred in the early hours of Sunday, June 26, while Verratti and his family were away from the property, which is reportedly owned by former Brazilian footballer Ronaldo.

The stolen items include cash, watches, and jewellery, and the incident is currently under investigation by the Civil Guard.

The property where Verratti was staying is located in Cala Jondal in the south of Ibiza, a popular destination where members of the British royal family, including Prince William and Kate, have previously vacationed.

Verratti’s wife, French model Jessica Aidi, has been sharing images and videos from their time in Ibiza with former Miss France contestant Charlotte Mint.
