A MAN has been charged with attempted murder after he shot at another man inside a garage in Sydney's south-west.
A 26-year-old man was working in his garage at Pickwick Way, Ambarvale, when he was confronted by another man, aged 20, about 9.55pm (AEDT) yesterday.
The pair started struggling and the younger man allegedly threatened the occupant with a firearm.
Following the fight, he allegedly fired a number of shots towards the 26-year-old before running from the scene.
The bullets missed the man and struck a Toyota Tarago parked in the front yard of a nearby home.
No one was injured during the shooting, police said.
The younger man allegedly ran to a waiting white Mitsubishi Magna being driven by another man.
Police were on their way to the home when they spotted the white Mitsubishi travelling along Woodhouse Drive, Ambarvale, about 11.15pm (AEST)
They stopped the car on Englorie Park Drive and arrested a 20-year-old man.
He has been charged with attempted murder and discharging a firearm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and refused bail to appear in Campbelltown Local Court today.
Investigations into the shooting are continuing, police said.
