Charged before the Ikorodu Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State, Yusuf Olatunji, aged 27, is accused of stealing windows worth N650,000.
Although presented with a charge of stealing, Olatunji entered a plea of not guilty.
The prosecutor, Insp Adegeshin Famuyiwa, informed the court that the alleged theft took place in August 2023 at No. 22, Lajo Village, Ikorodu.
It is claimed that Olatunji stole 10 windows valued at N650,000 from Mr. Paul Babatunde.
The prosecutor stated that this act is in violation of Section 287 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The Magistrate, Mr. O. A. Ogbe, granted the defendant bail in the amount of N100,000, with a surety of the same sum, and adjourned the case until Feb. 8 for further proceedings.
