BIOGRAPHY
Luis Ernesto Franco Tiznado is a Mexican actor, screenwriter and director, born on December 21, 1983, in Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico. At the age of 18, he moved to Mexico City, where he began his studies at the Actor Training Center (CEFAC), with teachers such as Raúl Quintanilla, Héctor Mendoza and Dora Cordero, among others.
Upon leaving the institution, Luis debuted in the play I hate you , written by Ximena Escalante and directed by his former teacher, Dora Cordero. Shortly after, the actor ventured into television, with the novel The Gardener’s Daughter (2003), and later participated in soap operas such as Campeones de la vida (2006), Stolen Lives (2010), A Corazón Abierto (2011), Camelia la Texana (2014), Under the same sky (2015) Señora Acero: La Coyote (2016-2018)
In 2008 he became one of the founders of the production company Los Güeros Films , producer of films such as Cuatro Lunas (2015), El Cumple de la Abuela (2016) and Detrás de la Montaña (2017). In cinema, the actor has participated in films such as Pamela por amor (2008), 2033 (2009), Colosio: The murder (2012), I don’t know whether to cut my veins or leave them long (2013), Perfect Obedience (2014), Lo What We Could Be (2014) and, more recently, in Malacopa (2018).
