Liam Hemsworth is an Australian actor, born on January 13, 1980, in Melbourne, Australia. Son of Craig and Leonie, a social services worker and an English teacher, Liam is the brother of fellow actors Craig and Chris Hemsworth, famous for his role as Thor in the Marvel cinematic universe. It would be in high school when he would become interested in acting, given that his brothers were already beginning to perform on theater stages. In addition to working as a floor installer and electrician, Liam was also beginning to perform in amateur and school plays.
She debuted in the Australian television series Home and Away (2007), which was followed by participation in series such as The McLeod Sisters (2007), Neighbors (2007-2008), The Elephant Princess (2008-2009), in addition to participating in the film Knowing (2009), by director Alex Proyas, alongside actor Nicolas Cage. It would be this film that would allow her to receive better offers, her first major role being that of Gale, in the popular film series The Hunger Games ( 2012). After the success of the film, Liam has worked in films such as The Expendables 2 (2012), The Power of Money (2013), The Dressmaker (2015), Independence Day: Counterattack ( 2016) and Duel (2016), among others.
