BIOGRAPHY
Actress Lena Headey was born in Hamilton, Bermuda, her father, a Yorkshire Police cadet, was posted there shortly before her birth. At the age of five she returned with her family to England and was raised in Yorkshire.
From a very young age she showed her interest in acting, during her adolescence she lived in London where at 17 she caught the attention of a casting agent. She was chosen to participate in the film The Country of Water (1992), with which she debuted on the big screen and the following year she participated in 4 television series Soldier, How We Used to Live, Spender and Screen Two.
He has participated in projects such as Rumors that Kill (2000), Ripley’s Game (2002), The Cursed Cavern (2005), Red Roses (2005), The Secret of the Brothers Grimm (2005), Possession (2002), What remains of the day (1993), 300 (2006), The Jungle Book: The Adventure Continues (1994), Onegin (1999), Aberdeen (2000), The Murderer’s Trap (2007), Der roote Baron (2008), The Broken (2008), Tell-Tale Heart (2009), among many others.
She participated in the television series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (2008), however, her fame rose to stratospheric levels thanks to her portrayal of the queen Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones (2011). Among her latest projects are the films Crooks, The Flood and Fighting with My Family.
