Legal Action Against Antonio Brown Claims He Sold Fake Watch

Antonio Brown, a currently unaffiliated NFL player, is facing a lawsuit alleging that he sold a counterfeit Richard Mille watch for $160,000.

The lawsuit has been filed by a man named Ryan Kane in Broward County, FL, where Brown resides. The lawsuit claims that Brown knowingly misrepresented the watch as authentic when it was actually fake.

Kane is suing the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver for fraud and other charges, seeking $160,000 plus interest.

Reportedly, less than two months after the purchase, Kane had the watch appraised in Miami and discovered that it was fake. It is alleged that Brown had acquired the watch, along with three other counterfeit Richard Mille watches, from a dealer in Dubai for less than $500 each.

According to the lawsuit, Brown claimed that the watch was a genuine RM 011 model worth more than $400,000, while in reality, the watch in question was released in 2007 in collaboration with Formula 1 driver Felipe Massa.

Antonio Brown has not yet responded to the allegations.
