Lana’s family has an interesting story and story to tell. His father, Ruben J. Lokteff, was an investment advisor. He had just enough to take care of his house. Unfortunately, in 1989 he was involved in litigation with the Great American Life Insurance Company. It cost him all his money. He finally went bankrupt in 1997. He had nothing else to do. So he took the pastoral path. In 2010, Ruben Lokteff became Minister of Touchstone Ministries in Redmond, Oregon. Lana’s brother, Joseph, would be a secretary in the same church.
