The passing of Nigerian rapper Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, known as Mohbad, has saddened American hip-hop artists Kodak Black and Lil Durk.
During an Instagram live session with his fans, Kodak Black expressed his condolences for the 27-year-old rapper, stating that he had only discovered Mohbad’s social media page a few days before his untimely death.
He said, “R.I.P to Mohbad. Kodak, you were his neighborhood hero until his passing. It’s crazy because I just came across his page this week, a few days ago. Rest well, wherever you are, man.”
Similarly, Lil Durk paid his respects to Mohbad on his Instagram story and X handle, writing, “RIP Mohbad aka Imole.”
