BIOGRAPHY
Kelly Reilly is a British actress, born on July 18, 1977, in Chessington, London. The daughter of a police officer and a secretary, she came into contact with theater while she attended high school, where she read plays and attended performances, encouraged by her drama teacher. At age sixteen, Reilly was discovered by an agent on a project for amateur actors called The Casting Couch , which gave him an audition for the popular television series Hot Suspects , in which Helen Mirren played detective Jane Tennison. In 1997, Reilly made her stage debut at London’s Watford Palace Theater in Terry Johnson’s play Elton John’s Glasses and, years later, Johnson cast her again in her play The Graduate . Noted for her performance in the horror film Silence in the Lake (2008) and for both Sherlock Holmes films , directed by Guy Ritchie, in recent years, Reilly has worked on series such as Britannia (2017-2018), Yellowstone (2018- 2023) and films such as Eli (2019) and Hunting in Venice (2023), among others.
