Kayla Varner was born on the 4th of November 1992 in Henderson, Nevada. She attended and graduated from Green Valley High School before going to college. She attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. The university is owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The passion for the sport had been in Kayla Varner straight from her earlier years. She served for a time as the captain of her high school football team, the Green Valley Gators. She went on to be a star soccer player in college, playing two seasons with Brigham Young before transferring to Ohio State University, where she continued her love of soccer.
career
Kayla’s leadership skills and aptitude allowed her to captain the Green Valley Gators team for three of the four seasons she played. Her skills proved very resourceful as she took the team to the playoffs every year she started. Her record in four years is an outstanding 112 goals and 83 assists. She also won two Sunrise Conference titles with the team and three Southeast Division titles. While at Brigham Young, she played two seasons before moving to Ohio State, where she played 20 games for the Ohio Buckeyes. Varner has also been involved with several charities.

Kayla has a close family. She was raised in Las Vegas with her two brothers Markus and McKay by her parents Lizz and Sean Varner. In addition to her own family, Kalya began a journey toward building her own family by marrying Bryce Harper.
Kayla and her husband Bryce Harper began dating. They got engaged in 2014 and eventually tied the knot sometime in early January 2015. However, the wedding was called off at the last minute and neither offered an explanation as to why. Subsequently, Kayla stopped appearing in Bryce’s social media posts and there was speculation that the two had split.
Things changed when they were spotted together at the ESPYs in July 2016. And this time, Kayla wore a diamond ring on her ring finger. She later posted a picture confirming the couple had become engaged. The couple officially married on December 17th , 2016 in front of family and friends. The venue was the San Diego Mormon Temple, where both hold services. They held the reception at the San Diego Polo Fields.

Kayla Varner and her husband are both heavily involved in charity work. Bryce Harper started his charity in 2013 under the name Harper’s Heroes. The charity works in partnership with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The charity offers cancer patients and survivors the opportunity to watch the Washington Nationals team practice batting and watch the team play for free.
Kayla is heavily involved with her husband’s charity. She is also involved with the Alliance for Haiti’s Children, a charity dedicated to helping Haitian children get an education.
