Another divorce lawyer has been added to Kanye West’s legal team in the ongoing case with his estranged ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.
The rapper has enlisted the services of Robert Stephan Cohen from Cohen Clair Lans Greifer Thorpe & Rottenstreich LLP, making him the sixth attorney to join the legal battle with Kim Kardashian.
Cohen previously represented Melinda Gates in her high-profile divorce from Bill Gates.
According to TMZ, Kanye West has also brought Nicholas A. Salick from Salick Family Law Group, APLC on board as his counsel in California, as Cohen is based in New York, and the Kim divorce case is in Los Angeles.
Cohen, who previously represented Melinda Gates, has also had notable clients such as Rupert Murdoch, Chris Rock, Athina Onassis, and more.
Since Kim filed for divorce, the relationship between her and Kanye has been tumultuous. They have had moments of getting along, attending their children’s events together, while at other times, he has criticized her on social media about various issues including her relationship with ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson and their children’s schooling.
