BIOGRAPHY
Director Justin Lin began directing while he was still studying his degree in film; He co-directed his first film, Shopping for Fangs (1997) with his schoolmate John Cho. In 2002 he directed his first solo feature film, Better Luck Tomorrow (2002). In 2006 he directed Annapolis, and, that same year, the film that would give him international success: Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006). He directed three more films in the saga: Fast and Furious (2009), Fast and Furious: 5in Control (2011) and Fast and Furious 6 (2013). After immersing himself in the world of action, Lin made the leap to science fiction with the direction of the third part of the Star Trek franchise, Star Trek Without Limits (2016). He has been a director on several episodes of successful television series such as Comunity, Scorpion and True Detective . It was recently announced that Juntin Lin will direct two more films in the Fast and Furious franchise and that he will serve as producer of the long-awaited second part of Space Jam (1996), this time starring LeBron James.
