BIOGRAPHY

José Sefami is a Mexican actor of Turkish origin. His grandfather emigrated to Mexico during World War II and, later, his grandmother followed him to Veracruz. There they formed a family that would later move to the streets of Mexico City. Sefami is known for having participated in more than 30 Mexican films that have achieved international premieres, including Amores Perros (2000), The Fourth Company (2016), Días de Gracia (2011) and Cantinflas (2014). In 2010 he won the Ariel award for Best Male Co-Acting thanks to his work in Conozca la head of Juan Pérez . In addition to being an actor, he is a professional percussionist and even recorded an album with the help of the National Fund for Culture and the Arts: La mar enfortuna.
