Jon Hamm, the actor known for his role in “Mad Men,” married co-star Anna Osceola at Anderson Canyon in Big Sur, California.
The couple first met on the series finale in 2015, the same year Hamm ended his 18-year relationship with actress and screenwriter Jennifer Westfeldt.
Hamm, who previously expressed his reluctance towards marriage due to his parents’ divorce, decided to tie the knot with Osceola, 17 years his junior. He also had reservations about having children.
During a 2012 interview with Playboy, he mentioned, “My parents got divorced when I was two and never remarried. So it doesn’t mean anything to me. I’m not judging it one way or another. It’s just my experience.”
Speaking about the possibility of having children, he said, “I didn’t’ have a driving force to have a baby.”
The couple’s separation was announced months after Hamm and Osceola first met. Sources revealed that Westfeldt found Hamm’s party-heavy lifestyle challenging.
Eight years later, Hamm and Osceola exchanged vows, marking the beginning of their married life.
The couple’s wedding took place at the same location where the series finale of “Mad Men” was filmed, adding sentimental value to their union.
Hamm, 52, and Osceola, 35, looked radiant as they tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony overlooking the sea at sunset.
The bride looked elegant in a white gown while the groom looked dashing in a classic black tuxedo.
The star-studded event was attended by A-list actors, including Paul Rudd, Larry David, and Tina Fey.
The couple made their red carpet debut in 2022, solidifying their public relationship.
