Jason Patrick Faunt, born on November 20, 1974, in Chicago, Illinois, is a prominent American actor renowned for his portrayal of Wes Collins in Power Rangers: Time Force, and Alex, the former Red Time Force Ranger. Faunt was raised in the Chicago suburb of McHenry, Illinois, where he attended McHenry High School East Campus. He graduated in the same class as Matt Skiba, the lead singer of Alkaline Trio. Faunt exhibited his athletic talent in high school and utilized a partial baseball scholarship to pursue a B.S. in Business Management and Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. Initially aspiring to become a Major League Baseball player after graduation, Faunt redirected his ambitions towards Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. He made his professional debut in Power Rangers: Time Force.
Faunt married Stephanie on September 6, 2002, and they have two daughters. While they were engaged, Stephanie had a cameo in the saloon scene in the episode “Movie Madness, Part I”. They are currently separated.
