In an interview with The Athletic, Alex Iwobi stressed the importance of turning good performances into results for Fulham in the English Premier League. Despite a strong showing, Fulham suffered a 4-3 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
Expressing his satisfaction with the team’s impressive display, Iwobi emphasized the need to secure victories. He stated, “Of course, it’s good to have good performances. But we need to turn them into results. That’s what pushes you up the table. It’s all good saying you performed well, but we need results. It’s fine margins.”
