Pantera is an American heavy metal band from Arlington, Texas, formed in 1981. The group is known for its lineup consisting of the Abbott brothers Vinnie Paul and Dimebag Darrell. Also, this is with Bassist Rex Brown and lead vocalist Phil Anselmo who is the former who joined in 1982. Also, he is the sole constant member of Pantera. Why Did Pantera Break Up?
According to Abc, the band broke up in 2003 after a rift was formed between the pair and lead singer Phil Anselmo and the brothers who formed the band Damageplan. This was performed with Damageplan in 2004, which is about Abbott, who was shot in the head five times by former Marine Nathan Gale who is the Alrosa Villa nightclub in Columbus, Ohio. Three other people also were killed before a police officer killed Gale. He was playing drums when his brother was killed and learned about the gunman who intended to kill him but the drummer who escaped to the band's tour bus.

The Pantera Reunion
