Mark Alexander Ballas, who is popular for TV’s ‘Dancing With The Stars’ was born on May 24, 1986 to Corky Ballas and Shirley Rich in Houston, Texas. He comes from a family with a long line of musicians. While her father, Corky was a flamenco guitarist, her mother, Shirley was a dancer, her grandmother was a castanet player and her uncle was a guitarist. His paternal grandfather, George Ballas, was a popular man who was known for his invention of the Weed Eater lawn mower.

Talking about an actor, Mark Ballas starred in the musical film “Copacabana” where he played the character of Tony. On the UK national tour of the Spanish musical Maria de Buenos Aires, he was the principal dancer and also acted as Ritchie Valens the understudy in Buddy’s UK national tour. He also has an acting role in the popular movie, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. He was a guest on the season premiere of Samantha Who and on September 6, 2016, it was announced that Mark was going to be the last actor to star as Frankie Valli in the Broadway cast of Jersey Boys before it closed in 2017.
