Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun has caught the attention of five overseas clubs following his impressive breakthrough season in France.
The highly-rated young striker is set to depart Arsenal this summer in search of regular playing time after his standout performances for Ligue 1 outfit Reims.
During his loan stint, Balogun notched an impressive tally of 21 league goals, placing him joint fourth in the scoring charts of France’s top division.
Arsenal has now placed a hefty price tag of £50 million on the rising star as they aim to offset their own summer transfer expenses, with several clubs displaying keen interest in his services.
Italian powerhouses AC Milan and Inter Milan, as well as French outfits Marseille and Monaco, alongside Germany’s RB Leipzig, have all communicated their interest in the 22-year-old.
Born in New York, Balogun resolved his international future by representing the senior national team of the USA, and he recently marked his debut with a goal against Canada.
