BIOGRAPHY
Ibnu Jamil began his career in 2008, with numerous supporting roles in film and television projects. In 2019 he starred in the Indonesian drama film, written and directed by Adriyanto Dewo, Homecoming , for which he was nominated for Best Actor at the 40th Citra Awards. The actor played the lead role of Prince in the series Scandal (2021-2023), which follows the fallout of online prostitution scandals in the world of entertainment. He recently worked with Indonesian director Kamila Andini on the film Nana (2022), which competed in the Official Section of the Berlinale. Jamil is part of the main cast of The Cigarette Girl (2023), a Netflix series that follows a talented artisan who experiences love and self-discovery while trying to revolutionize the traditional clove cigarette industry of 1920s Indonesia. 60.
