BIOGRAPHY
Born in 1978, Hedi Bouchenafa landed his first appearance on screen by chance: in 2008 he accompanied a friend to the casting of Un Prophète . If the latter is not selected, Hedi Bouchenafa catches the eye of Jacques Audiard and obtains a small role, which nevertheless allows him to shoot 28 days and climb the steps of the Cannes Film Festival, where the film will win the Grand Prize . This meeting with the French director was decisive for Hedi Bouchenafa who decided to try his luck as an actor.
Despite these encouraging beginnings, the rest proves more difficult. In 2012, he decided to create his web series, Dans ma ride , where he met artists, athletes and public figures. He then operates under the pseudonym Hedi Les Bons Tuyaux. He continued with two other web series: En Passant Pécho and Qui met le coco . The first, which won the Audience Award for Best Webseries at the 2015 Luchon Festival, follows a gang of zany drug dealers. The second is a static shot in a car shared by four childhood friends.
In parallel with appearances on television ( Platene , Engrenages ) and in the cinema ( Intouchables , La Fille du 14 Juillet ), he is mainly chosen to play thug roles. Weed dealer in Five (2016), henchman in the Netflix series Marseille (2016-2018), mafioso in Nicky Larson (2018), Hedi Bouchenafa then finds his accomplice from En Passant Pécho, Nassim Lyes, for the feature film adaptation of the web series of the same name. It is now on Netflix that viewers can find Hedi and Cokeman, the two worst drug dealers in Paris.
