Guinea-Bissau, the Group A opponent of Nigeria in the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, has unveiled its final roster of 25 players for the tournament.
The squad does not include any local players.
Head coach Baciro Cande has selected three goalkeepers, eight defenders, six midfielders, and eight forwards for the squad.
Guinea-Bissau will kick off the competition by playing against hosts Cote d’Ivoire at the Alssanne Quattara Stadium in Ebimpe, Abidjan on January 13.
Four days later, the Djurtus will face Equatorial Guinea at the same venue.
Their final group stage match is scheduled against the Super Eagles at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan on January 22.
