BIOGRAPHY
Gabriel D’Almeida Freitas is a Canadian actor, comedian and screenwriter, born on June 4, 1990, in Quebec, Canada. After studying film at the Lionel-Groulx College in his hometown, he was accepted into the National School of Humor, where he graduated in 2011. Shortly after graduating, he signed a contract with the company Turbulent Media, to produce, act and develop web series that achieved certain recognition in the late 2000s. Gabriel was recognized for creating, in 2015 and as part of the Zoofest festival, a show of 60 comedians in 60 seconds, which, by 2018, became 100 comedians in 100 minutes. Known on television for the series Les Simone (2017) and Hubert et Fanny (2018), Gabriel debuted in cinemas with one of the main roles in the film Matthías y Maxime (2019), directed by Xavier Dolan.
