Gabby Agbonlahor, the former captain of Aston Villa, has singled out Rasmus Hojlund as the player who can assist Manchester United in securing a top-four finish in the Premier League this season.
Agbonlahor also praised Hojlund, who transferred from Atalanta to Man United during the summer transfer window, for his speed, strength, and aggressive style of play.
“The reason I wouldn’t discount Man United [from the top four] yet is because I’m really impressed with Hojlund,” commented Agbonlahor (via talkSPORT).
“Even when he came on against Arsenal, he caused them problems. He’s quick, strong, and aggressive.
“I think the upcoming game against Brighton, who have vulnerabilities at the back, could be a match where he scores a couple of goals.”
Hojlund recently made his debut for Man United, coming off the bench against Arsenal and immediately posing a threat with his pace and power.
The 20-year-old is expected to become the focal point of Man United manager Erik ten Hag’s attacking strategy.
