Reports indicate that American rapper Flavor Flav has become a father for the eighth time.
It has been revealed by TMZ, that a paternity test confirmed the rapper’s 3-year-old son named Jordan with his former manager.
Although the female employee was only identified as “Kate,” a LinkedIn profile for a woman named Kate Gammell suggests that she worked as Flav’s manager in 2017.
Gammell’s Instagram profile also features multiple photos of her with the same little boy seen in a photo obtained by TMZ of Flavor Flav and Jordan.
The publication also spoke with the toddler’s grandparents, Barry and Parchi, who revealed that their daughter had a romantic relationship with Flav during her employment with him.
It was reported that the “Fight the Power” rapper initially had doubts about the child’s paternity and requested a DNA test.
However, after learning of the test results, Flavor Flav has made arrangements for child support and custody, increased his time with Jordan, and has even begun teaching him how to play the drums.
The publication mentioned that Jordan will soon be legally taking on Flav’s last name, Drayton.
The rapper’s three oldest kids – Shanique, Karren, and Karla Drayton – are from his previous relationship with Karen Ross in the late ’80s to early ’90s. He also has a daughter Da’Zyna Drayton and sons Quanah and William Drayton from his relationship with Angie Parker, following his time with Ross.
Flavor Flav’s second youngest child, Karma, was born in 2007 to Liz Trujillo, with whom Flav appeared on “Couple’s Therapy” in 2013.
