BIOGRAPHY
Fisher Stevens is an American actor, director, producer and screenwriter. He began his career as Tiny Tim’s brother, Harry, in the musical version of Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” in the basement of an off-Broadway theater when he was 14 years old. Since then he has performed in more than 20 theater productions. Fisher made his film debut in the horror film The Sentenced (1981) when he was 16 years old. He co-starred with Matt Dillon in the hit comedy film The Flamingo Kid (1984) and appeared as a sidekick to Steve Guttenberg’s character in Short Circuit (1986). He won the 2010 Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature for his film The Cove (2009) and the 2008 Independent Spirit Award for Best Documentary Feature for his film Crazy Love . Additionally, he directed the documentary Before the Flood (2016), produced by Leonardo DiCaprio and produced by Martin Scorsese. He recently starred in Wes Anderson’s film The French Dispatch (2020).
