EPL: Cole Palmer’s Transfer to Chelsea Pushes Boehly’s Spending to £1 Billion


In a deal worth up to £42.5 million, Cole Palmer has officially joined Chelsea from Manchester City.

Initially, City valued their academy talent at £50 million, but they came to a compromise, accepting a fee of £40 million for Palmer, with an additional £2.5 million due in add-ons.

With this transfer, Chelsea’s spending since Todd Boehly’s takeover of the club last year has reached a whopping £1 billion.
