Entrepreneur, model, and designer Faith Morey has openly expressed her love for Nollywood box office queen Funke Akindele amid ongoing tensions with fellow actress Iyabo Ojo.
During the premiere of Funke Akindele’s new movie, A Tribe Called Judah, Faith Morey was seen openly displaying affection towards Funke Akindele.
Although the viral video capturing their affectionate exchange was muted, their mutual admiration was evident.
Sharing photos of her outfit on Instagram, Faith Morey wrote, “Funke Akindele called and I had to answer as Faith Morey darling.”
Notably, a range of Nollywood stars, reality TV personalities, content creators, musicians, and comedians attended the movie premiere, showcasing overwhelming support for Funke Akindele.
Familiar faces in attendance included Mercy Eke, Bella Okagbue, Sheggz Olusemo, Phyna, Ini Edo, Kiekie, Dotun, Timini Egbuson, James Brown, Nse Ekpe Etim, Jide Ekene, Olunide Oworu, Jaiye Kuti, and Priscilla Ojo, among others.
Faith Morey and Iyabo Ojo’s public feud originated during their appearances on the popular SHOWMAX reality show, Real Housewives of Lagos, where they frequently clashed.
It is worth noting that Faith Morey recently ended her over ten-year marriage to American husband Randy Morey, with whom she shares a son named Ethan Morey.
Addressing her new status as a single mother, the model and actress emphasized the importance of maintaining a cordial relationship with her ex-husband for the sake of their child.
She affirmed her commitment to prioritizing her child’s well-being, highlighting that while she has custody for 5 days a week, her ex-husband also spends 2 days with their child.
