The memorial service of Lebogang Khitsane, a well-known tombstone maker in South Africa, took a dramatic turn as his sister publicly accused his wife of engaging in extramarital affairs. The scene unfolded during the live broadcast of the service on South African television ‘eNCA’ on Sunday, August 30.

Semati Moedi, the sister of the deceased, disclosed that her brother passed away feeling resentful due to his wife’s alleged infidelity. She went on to confront Maria Khitsane, accusing her of bringing other men into their matrimonial home. The confrontation escalated, leading to a physical altercation as the two women struggled for the microphone.

The incident was captured in a video shared on social media, depicting the tense confrontation between the sister and the wife. Khitsane is renowned for his distinctive tombstone designs, including those for notable figures such as Nelson Mandela, Robbie Malinga, Joe Mafela, Mduduzi “Mandoza” Tshabalala, Ontlametse Phalatse, Nkululeko ‘Flabba’ Habedi, Baby Jake Matlala, and Scara Ngobese, among others.
