New information has been released about a deadly crash that happened in Sun Valley last month.
On November 23rd, just after 2:30 p.m., Nevada State Police responded to a crash on Sun Valley Boulevard at 5th Avenue.
Investigators found that a 2014 Subaru Legacy was headed south on Sun Valley Boulevard while a 2020 Dodge Durango was heading north. When the Subaru turned left onto 5th Avenue it was hit by the Dodge.
The driver of the Subaru, 36-year-old Laura Martinez-Lopez, was taken to the hospital where she died from her injuries.
A juvenile passenger was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Investigation of the crash continues through the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Northern Command West Multidisciplinary Investigation & Reconstruction Team.
