DeMar DeRozan is a professional NBA player born as DeMar Darnell DeRozan on August 7, 1989 in Compton, California, and an American national. DeMar’s parents are Frank and Diane DeRozan. He has an older brother named Jermaine DeRozan, a basketball coach.
Before turning pro, DeRozan played basketball at high school and college levels. He was so good at both levels that he won many accolades, for example in 2006 and 2007 he was nominated successively.
