American actress Danielle Andrea Harris was born in Plainview, Long Island, New York on June 1 , 1977. The actress spent most of her childhood in Florida, where she grew up with her younger sister, Ashley Harris . Both were raised by their mother, Fran Harris.
Growing up, she participated in pageants and also had a lot of modeling offers. When her family moved back to New York, Harris began her acting career by auditioning for television and film roles. She is also a voice actress and director who is excellent at her job. In 2011, she won the Best Actress award at the Shockfest Film Festival and in 2012, the Best Actress award at the Burbank International Film Festival. She was also inducted into the Fangoria Hall of Fame in 2012. These are just a few of her many accolades.
She made her acting debut at the age of seven when she portrayed the role of Samantha ‘Sammi’ Garreston on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live (1985 – 1987). She is best known for appearing in numerous horror movies, including the famous Halloween franchise.
