BIOGRAPHY
Trained at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Art in Paris, Cyril Gueï perfects his game on the stage. Seen in Brice de Nice , the young man maintains an obsessive relationship with Dominique Blanc in The Other and leaves, accompanied by Jalil Lespert , in search of his girlfriend who remained in Rwanda in Front Lines . These two performances earned him a pre-nomination for the César for Best New Actor in 2010 and 2011.
Attracted by directing, the artist took on the director’s hat in 2012 to shoot two short films, Stay with me and Tomorrow is another day , in which his friend Roda Fawaz plays the main roles. Three years later, he began directing his first feature film, Détour aux Sources , still in collaboration with Roda Fawaz, on the initiatory journey of a man in his country of origin, Lebanon.

Still in comedy, Cyril Gueï stood out in the OCS series Templeton and Lazy Company , before slipping into the shoes of Chico, the companion of Sylvie Testud , the mother of Héloïse Martin in the two parts of Tamara . France 2 viewers discover him in the shoes of Timothée Glissant, the forensic doctor in Agatha Christie’s Little Murders , during the episodes carried by Samuel Labarthe and Blandine Bellavoir between 2016 and 2020.
In January 2018, TF1 broadcast the series Les innocents , with Odile Vuillemin and Tomer Sisley, in which he plays, alongside Barbara Cabrita , a police officer from the SRPJ in Perpignan.
