Colin Hanks is an American actor, director and producer, born on November 24, 1977. Son of acclaimed actor Tom Hanks and producer and actress Samantha Lewes, Hanks grew up in Sacramento, wishing to follow in his parents’ footsteps in the entertainment industry. . He prepared at Chapman University, the location where his father debuted as a director with the film That’s What You Do (1996), where he had his professional debut, in addition to some of his friends participating as extras, and then continued his preparation at Loyola University. Marymount, California. He stayed away for four years to finish his studies, before returning to acting, quickly standing out in his career with roles in acclaimed series such as Roswell (199-2001), Band of Brothers (2001) and films such as Pena ajena (2002). and King Kong (2005). In recent years, Colin has been part of series such as Life in Pieces (2015-2019), American Crime Story (2021) and The Offer (2022), among others.
