Chloe Moretz is an American actress and model. From the age of 7, she got her big break in the superhero movie Kick-Ass in 2010 where she played the role of Hit-Girl. At a very young age, Chloe proved her versatility, and by her early teens she was named the busiest actress in Hollywood and later one of the most influential teenage girls.

Chloë Grace Moretz was born on February 10, 1997, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Teri Duke Moretz, McCoy Lee Moretz, who would later divorce. Both of her parents work in the medical field, her father Teri being a plastic surgeon and her mother McCoy, a nurse practitioner. Chloe was raised in a family she described as very Christian. She was mostly growing up in Cartersville, Georgia. She is of German and English descent.
She first became interested in acting while watching her brother Trevor who, at a very young age, wanted to become an actor and enroll in the Professional Performing Arts School in New York. Chloe and her mother had moved to New York with her brother in 2002, so Trevor could attend school.
Chloe sometimes helped her brother to read lines. Today, Chloe is better known in the film industry than her brother Trevor, who is currently her acting coach. Her other brother, Brandon, is her business manager.
Besides Trevor, Chloe has a total of four siblings; Brandon, Colin and Ethan. Chloe would have had a sister, but sadly, Kathleen Janette Moretz died the day after her birthday, February 1, 1988.
Chloe made her debut in the CBS series The Guardian in which she played the role of Violet in two episodes.

The following year in 2005, Chloe made her feature debut in Heart of the Beholder and also appeared in the family film Family Plan. Although she started out on the small screen, Chloe later focused on feature films. Her subsequent credits would include: The Amityville Horror, Today You Die, Mom’s Big House 2, The Kinky Little Things and more.
In 2006, she had her first role in an episode of The Emperor’s New School and then in the 2007 film titled Super Sleuth Christmas Movie.
Chloe portraying the role of Hit-Girl in Kick-Ass earned her many rave reviews and ultimately became the biggest break of her career. She performed most of her stunts in the film and had to train with Jackie Chan’s stunt team for three months. She reprized her role in the sequel to Kick-Ass 2 (2013).
Chloe quickly became a force to be reckoned with as she became a fixture in blockbuster films. She won four awards for her role in Kick-Ass and another for the 2013 sequel.
In 2014 she won the 1st People Awards for Next Generation Star and in 2015 Favorite Drama Movie Actress. She continues to build her filmography. She now resides in Studio City, Los Angeles
