BIOGRAPHY
Cassandra Sánchez Navarro is a Mexican theater, film and television actress. She studied acting and dramaturgy at the Televisa Artistic Education Center (CEA) from which she enrolled in 2011. Also that year she made her television debut in the soap opera Una familia conluck . In 2012 she shared credits with Victoria Ruffo and Ernesto Laguardia in the telenovela Corona de Tears produced by José Alberto Castro and for which she became known. Thanks to her performance by Chelito Durán, Sánchez Navarro won a TVyNovelas Award for best new actress. In 2015 she appeared in two episodes of the first season of the Netflix series Sense8 . She participated in the bioseries Silvia Pinal, Frente Ti , produced by Carla Estrada and broadcast by Televisa in 2019, where she played the role of Viridiana Alatriste, the deceased daughter of the leading actress Silvia Pinal. Sánchez Navarro will be the protagonist of Cindy, la regia (2020), an adaptation of the comic created by Ricardo Cucamonga.
