BIOGRAPHY
Film and television actress, Caroli Politi began her career on screen in the late 1990s. She had roles in successful Mexican films such as Antonio Serrano’s Sex, Modesty and Tears (1999), and Walter Doehner’s The Blue Room (2002). She also had prominent roles in Fernando Eimbcke’s comedy-drama Duck Season (2004) and in director Carlos Carrera’s Mexican-American co-production El Traspatio (2009). In 2011, it was a great year for Politi, since she was nominated for the Ariel for Best Female Co-Acting in the film Hidalgo, the Untold Story , starring Demián Bichir under the direction of Antonio Serrano. Recently, she worked under the direction of Isaac Cherem in Leona (2018), a dramatic film that follows a young Jewish woman from Mexico City who finds herself torn between her family and her forbidden love with a man. not Jewish.
