Carl Marino is an actor who, despite not having the longest career, has still become popular for his roles in productions like Homicide Hunter and I Almost Made It Out. A late start in acting, he worked as a deputy sheriff before finally deciding to pursue acting. Since he is a notoriously private individual, here is some information you should know about him.

Carl Marino Bio (Age)

The former deputy sheriff and actor was born CarlEarl Marino on August 27, 1970, in New York State, Hornell. It is also where he was raised alongside his three sisters by his parents, Carol Marino and Carl Marino.

Regarding his education, he went to Hornell High School from where he graduated before heading to the United States Military Academy at West Point. Besides that, he also attended the Rochester Institute of Technology and studied criminal justice.

Carl Marino didn’t realize early enough that he was cut to act and because of that, he didn’t start early. He then worked as a deputy sheriff in New York City until age 17 before leaving the service. He worked primarily at the Monroe County Jail.

After the service, he decided to move to SanFrancisco in order to be closer to some of his family members who had settled there. More so, his parents had already moved on by then and he was still suffering from a bad breakup, so he felt it was good for him to move.

It becomes interesting to know that before his first acting role, he never wanted to become an actor. In fact, he had never been involved in the arts at any time in his life, including as a child and in school. There was, however, a time when he worked in the theater on lighting.

Before signing up for modeling in California, the former sheriff did modeling work in Rochester, so modeling wasn’t entirely new to him.

Carl Marino worked for a time as a private investigator before joining the entertainment world. It was during this time that he came across a craigslist post calling for former law enforcement officers to participate in the filming of the pilot for Trauma as background law enforcement officers. He thought it would be fun to try but he had a job on the day of filming, forcing him to cancel what would have been his acting debut.

He has, thus far, appeared in a number of films and television series, including Cactus Liquor Store (2009), Trauma (2009 to 2010), Mystery Diagnosis (2010), and what remains of his work. the most popular; Homicide Hunter: Lt. Joe Kenda which ran from 2011 to 2019.

Wife and children, is he married?

Marino is a family man who has walked the aisle a few times. His current wife is Ilona Marino, a woman he married in August 2010. Ilona was born and raised in San Francisco, which is also believed to be where the couple first met.

While it is known that the two have maintained a very close relationship since getting married and participating in marathon races for charity, there is not so much in the public domain about their marriage as they are both notoriously private.

This marriage, however, is not the firstactor as before meeting and falling in love with Ilona Marino, Carl was married. The identity of his former wife, as well as other material regarding the relationship, are not all available in the public domain. The only thing that can be confirmed is that he shares two children with his former wife.
