With the plea deal in place, the previously scheduled jury selection on Friday, September 16, and the trial on Monday, September 19, are no longer necessary.

It is worth recalling that Cardi was accused of orchestrating an attack on two strip club bartenders, Jade and Baddie Gi, who are sisters, back in August 2018 (read here, here, and here).

Allegedly, Cardi believed Jade had been involved with her partner, Offset.

Cardi was arrested and booked several months later for her purported involvement in the strip club altercation.

As a component of the plea deal, an order of protection has been issued, mandating that Cardi stay away from the women for a duration of 3 years.
