On May 20, 2019, at 9:20 a.m., a Summit County employee in charge of health care confirmed that Stefanie had died at Akron General Hospital. The Ohio State Highway Patrol was often called to Township Road 429 on Sunday at 12:20 a.m. because of an ATV accident.
