During a visit to the exclave territory of Kaliningrad, Vladimir Putin couldn’t control his twitching legs as he made a bizarre joke about having a “rubber bum” to Russian schoolchildren. The pupils, who had been under 14-day quarantine before meeting Putin, seemed puzzled by his speech.
The 69-year-old Russian leader appeared publicly in front of selected students aged between nine and 12.
While seated, his legs seemed to twitch continuously as he stated that Russia and Ukraine should be one country.
When a boy asked Putin a question, his response included a peculiar joke about “rubber bum,” which barely drew a smile from the young audience.
Twitchy legs can be a symptom of Parkinson’s disease, which the western media has speculated Putin suffers from, while Russian media continues to assert his good health.
Putin’s speech followed a video of him walking awkwardly while laying flowers on the open casket of former Soviet President Michael Gorbachev.
Putin’s legs seem to be trying to twist while visiting Kaliningrad. What does his doctor say?
