Barcelona Vice-President Reveals Condition for Messi’s Return

Eduard Romeu, the Vice-President of Barcelona, has stated that Lionel Messi will only return to the club under “favourable circumstances”.

Since his departure from the LaLiga club to join Paris Saint-Germain in 2021, there have been constant rumors about Messi’s potential return.

However, this summer he decided to join Inter Miami instead of going back to the Nou Camp.

As the MLS season is set to conclude at the end of the year, the possibility of Messi returning to Barcelona on loan has emerged once again.

Unfortunately, this move appears to be impossible due to Barcelona’s ongoing financial troubles.

Once the Camp Nou is open again, it is likely that Messi will be honored in front of the Barcelona fans, and Romeu is confident that it will happen.

“The only thing I would like, and the day and time will surely come when circumstances are favorable, is for us to give him a great tribute,” he told L’Esportiu.

“He deserves it, and we are really looking forward to it.

“As for the rest, it is merely speculation. We don’t even discuss this topic anymore, as we have already talked about it too many times.”
