She attended Durgee Junior High School, where she was a student with honors and a very active participant in school sports, especially soccer, for which she just received the coaches award for her performance in the junior varsity season. In addition, she was a member of the National Honor Society at Durgee Junior High School. In addition to that, she was a student at Durgee Junior High School who received honor roll status.
