After his ex-girlfriend Dua Lipa’s public appearance with her new boyfriend Romain Gavras, Anwar Hadid took to Instagram to share a series of troubling messages.

The pop star, 27, made her red carpet debut with the French director, 41, at the 76th Annual Cannes Film Festival, where they openly displayed affection.

Shortly after, Anwar, 23, posted a gloomy selfie with the disturbing message: ‘Trying to not to find and kill him.’

The model, younger brother of Gigi and Bella Hadid, continued to post more peculiar messages on his Instagram Story.

Accompanying a selfie where he smirked into a mirror, Anwar wrote: ‘I can’t breathe’, sparking concern among fans on Twitter.

Subsequent posts included Anwar leaving a random crying face emoji under his own music promotion post: ‘The Skruuuuuuuuuugh out now on All streaming platforms!!!’

He also posted a duo of images featuring only the ground, writing: ‘I hate the way you say my name’ and a one-word message: ‘Hi.’

Responding to the posts, fans expressed shock, with some speculating that Anwar is obsessed and questioning his intentions.

Anwar’s two-year relationship with Grammy-winning superstar Dua Lipa ended in 2021 due to their extensive traveling schedules, with The Sun reporting a ‘crisis’ in their relationship.

In March, sources revealed that Lipa and Gavras had been quietly getting to know each other for months. They were seen leaving Netflix’s annual BAFTA Awards afterparty at the Chiltern Firehouse in London.

During an appearance on What What Happens Live, Dua Lipa revealed that her romance with Anwar began after she messaged him on Instagram.
