Angélique Monique-Paulette Boyer Rousseau was born on July 4, 1988 in Saint-Claude, Jura, France to Sylvie Rousseau and Patrick Boyer. In 1990, when she was just 2 years old, Boyer and her family moved to Mexico where she would grow up with a passion for entertainment. Keen to learn more about entertainment, Boyer was 8 and attended the Centro de Educación Artística, where she graduated at age 12.
After graduation, Boyer was part of a group of music group “Rabanitos Verdes” (translated: Little green radishes). In 2001, during the American group N’Sync’s tour in Mexico City, Boyer was the first act of their show at the Estadio Azteca.
At the age of 16, Boyer got her first acting role in the Telenovela Rebelde, Mexico, where she played the recurring role of Victoria “Vico” Paz for about a year, ending in 2005.
Together with her Rebelde co-stars; Celina (Estefanía Villareal) and José Lujan (Zoraida Gómez), Boyer form the music group C3Q’S.

The experience she gained in Rebelde was enough to land her other roles, including recurring roles in Objetos perdidos (2007), Muchachitas como tú (2007) and Alma de hierro (2008 – 2009). She made her film debut in 2007 with J-ok’el.
Boyer moved on to more mature roles in 2009 with the crime television series Mujeres Asesinas 2.
Her impressive performance on the crime drama landed her the first starring role of her career in Teresa (2010 – 2011). Since his first leading role, Boyer has had at least three main roles, including in Abismo de pasión (2012), Lo que la vida me robó (2013 – 2014) and Tres veces Ana (2016).
For her first starring role in Teresa, Boyer won four awards including; Premios TVyNovelas for Best Actress, Premios Bravo for Best Actress, Premios Juventud for Best Couples (with Aarón Díaz and Sebastián Rulli) and a Premios ACE for Best Leading Actress.
In 2017, Boyer won the Premios TVyNovelas award for best lead actor for his role in Tres veces Ana.

Beautiful and sexy, Boyer has attracted a lot of some of her co-workers she’s dated. Boyer’s first relationship to come to public attention was with Mexican-American singer and actor Diego Boneta, who starred with her in Rebedle. They were together for four years, from 2006 to 2010. In 2010, she would then have had a relationship with Drew Roy, but the rumors would never have been validated.
In 2011, when Teresa came to an end, Boyer began a relationship with telenovela producer José Alberto Castro. However, her family, especially her father, Patrick, was not supportive of this relationship due to the huge difference between their ages. Boyer was 25 and Castro, 53.
Nevertheless, the couple managed to stay together for three years until 2014 when the relationship ended much to the delight of Boyer’s father.
Boyer and Castro took to Twitter to reveal their split in a joint statement.
“By this means, we want to inform you that after a wonderful relationship full of love, it has become our decision to end this relationship. At this moment in our life, we have to face responsibilities that do not allow us to maintain our love as it should. We ask for your understanding and respect in order to avoid any speculation. Unfortunately for Boyer, his mother Sylvie Rousseau also passed away in 2014. She died from a complication of heart disease. She was 49 years old.
Amid his tragedy, Boyer found love in the eyes of fellow actor Sebastián Rulli. They confirmed their relationship in September 2014. Telenovela fans first understood the chemistry between them when they starred together in Teresa.
Amazingly, around this time, Rulli’s marriage to his then-wife actress Cecilia Galliano had just fallen apart. Rulli and Galliano have been together for almost a decade. They tied the knot in 2007 and divorced in 2011, shortly after the birth of their first son, Santi. Their divorce was preceded by a messy legal battle that thankfully ended when the pair buried the hatchet in order to co-parent their son, Santi.
While Boyer was dating Teresa’s producer Castro, Rulli was dating actress Aracely Arambula, but they split in 2013, a year before Boyer and Castro split.

Since announcing their relationship to the public in September 2014, Boyer and Rulli have gifted fans with plenty of photos from their intimate getaways.
According to People, there does not appear to be any conflict between Boyer and Rulli’s ex-wife, Cecilia Galliano.
