BIOGRAPHY
Ana Isabel Serradilla García was born on August 9, 1978 in Mexico City, Mexico. She is an actress and producer. She began studying Graphic Design at the Intercontinental University UIC, but in the fifth semester she abandoned her studies to enter the Artistic Training Center (CEFAC) of TV Azteca. In 1998 she stars in the Mexican version of the Argentine telenovela Chiquititas , produced by TV Azteca and Telefe. The following year she participated in the telenovela La vida en elmirro and she took part in the series Embrújame and Momento de decision , the latter produced by Argos. She acts in short films such as El duende del Reloj, directed by Tomás Farkas and awarded at numerous festivals. Her work in telenovelas includes projects such as When you are mine , Mirada de mujer – el viaje, Las Juanas and Deseo prohibido. She has participated in various plays such as Dangerous Liaisons, Love from Camilo Sesto’s Point of View, Women’s Bath and Van Gogh in Brighton. In 2001 she starred in her first film: A Strange World , which was followed by projects such as Corazón Marchito, Cansada de besar sapos and El toast. In 2005, she starred in the miniseries As infinite as the desert, which talks about the femicides in Ciudad Juárez. She has participated in series such as Línea noche, Drenajedeep and Amas de casaesperas, Spanish version of Desperate Housewives . She participated in the video clip of the Mexican rock group Elefante, Durmiendo con la luna . Among her most recent projects we find: Not a Minute to Lose , The Year of the Plague, Welcome to Acapulco and the long-awaited remake of My Best Friend’s Wedding .
